Emma Cabrera

Project Manager

Emma Cabrera is the Project Manager of the Deliberation Dinners and The Discussion Project. She worked collaboratively with Glueck and Hess to develop the initiative and manages its day-to-day activities.

Cabrera was a social studies teacher in Chicago Public Schools and the Madison Metropolitan School District. In addition, Cabrera taught English in South Korea and Japan and served as a U.S. Senate staffer.

Cabrera is an alumna of UW–Madison, where she earned a bachelor’s in political science and philosophy in 2014 and a master’s degree in 2018 from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. A student-athlete, Cabrera competed on the women’s swimming team during her undergraduate years.
